Check out this very well modeled 3d printed 1870s Colt revolver pistol. I printed this 3d prop for my dad and used eva foam to make the holster. Several pictures below show the 3d printed parts still on the bed and then various stages of the build. No paint on the 3d printed parts just used silver and white filament and a little sanding. The eva foam was cut to shape, heat formed to gun, sprayed with plastidip and painted. Came out pretty nice. This is a excellent model and full credit goes to the designer. Link to Model
