Bring Your Cosplay Props to Life with 3D Printing. Are you looking to add an extra touch of realism to your cosplay props? Look no further than 3D printing. This was our latest project, a Nuka Cola Zapper from the popular game Fallout 4. My goal was to create a special birthday gift for our nephew who is a big fan of the game. We started with this design (Zapper Link)<\/a>, which took us two days to print on our 3D printer. Next, we spent two days sanding and priming the 3D parts to achieve a smooth surface, ready for paint. Our method of using a combination of wet and dry sandpaper with various grits, metal files, and filler primer ensures a high-quality finish. Finally, we painted the pieces and glued them together, followed by touch-up paint and a clear coat for protection. To complete the look, we ordered Nuka Cola stickers from Etsy and gave the prop one more clear coat. 3D printing is a game-changer for cosplay props, bringing your designs to life like never before.
